A Phone with Self-repairing Screen
Often our smartphone slips and ends up in broken screen.
If you don’t opt any insurance, you have only one option.
You need to spend a huge amount in replacing the glass or buy a new smartphone.
To overcome these issues, Motorola Company is working on a self-repairing screen.
The screen of modern smartphones is made of glass.
But, Motorola is trying to make using a mouldable plastic named as “Shape memory polymer”.
This polymer has a tendency to join when heat is applied.
The Motorola is planned to release this phone with a pre-installed application, which spots the crack and fix by heating the surface.
This heat is generated by the device itself.
However, this company is not sure whether this technology works on larger cracks.
The model type and a release date are yet to be confirmed.
