Do you believe in aliens?
You would have heard rumours “aliens exist in some part of the galaxy, and they are more advanced than our technology.
We always believe there is a possibility of life existence on any other planet.
Despite a lot of research in space, scientists have not yet got any piece of evidence of life on another planet.
Even so, scientists have not stopped to explore space.
Recently, scientists have discovered a new planet by a concept of microlensing.
Microlensing is a phenomenon used to seeing planets that are far away from the Earth.
Using this method one can discover stars, planets and other celestial bodies that are thousands of light-years away from the earth.
Recent findings with microlensing were reported in the article published Astrophysical Journal Letters.
This planet is named as OGLE-2016-BLG-1195lb the lowest-mass planet ever found through the microlensing.
This planet has the same mass as Earth and orbits its star at the same distance as Earth orbits the sun.
It is even colder than Pluto is in our own solar system thus any water surface would freeze.
As the parent star is so tiny and dim, hence radiations from it is much less for the planet.
Hence, this planet is named as iceball.
As it is too cold, there is no possibility for the existence of life.
However, scientists continue to believe life on another planet, let us see whether the belief of them comes true in future.
